HEADS-UP Tournaments:
In heads-up tournaments, each player starts with 5,000 in chips. Chips are multi-denominational 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000 and 10000. Traditionally, Heads-up tornaments will begin with cards in the air at the scheduled start time. The heads-up tournament is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tournament. Players will be SEEDED based on the league points they have accumulated in the weeks prior. Important thing to note is that the highest ranked seed will ALWAYS play the lowest ranked seed. Each round, players will be seeded against their opponent, multiple heads-up matches will be played at the same time with an alternate blind structure. Breaks will be limited due to the slow nature of the tournament. Players will proceed to their appropriate seats to await the start of their round when directed by the tournament director. Each level is seven (7) minutes in length and breaks will be limited due to the slow nature of the tournament.
